What happened
  • Felipe Nasr brought the No. 7 Porsche Penske Motorsport 963 home 1.569 seconds ahead of Jack Aitken's No. 31 Cadillac after a last hour fight, Nasr's third consecutive overall Rolex 24 win, shared with Julien Andlauer and Laurin Heinrich.
  • Jack Aitken set the fastest qualifying lap at 1:33.939, but the No. 31 was stripped of pole for excessive rear skid block wear and started 11th; the No. 93 Acura Meyer Shank inherited pole. The No. 31 recovered to second, keeping alive the podium run PN canon counts at eight straight by Watkins Glen.
  • Winward Racing, the US based Mercedes AMG customer team, won the GTD class with Lucas Auer on the driver list.
