What happened
  • Oliver Solberg and Elliott Edmondson won the season opener by 51.8 seconds, the youngest Monte-Carlo winner of the WRC era and the first of the five straight Toyota wins PN's Rally de Portugal recap records to open 2026.
  • Toyota locked out the podium: Elfyn Evans second at +51.8 and Sebastien Ogier third, a further 1:10.4 back.
  • Evans won the Wolf Power Stage; Sami Pajari, Josh McErlean and Jon Armstrong all retired, ending M-Sport's manufacturer points scoring run dating to the 2002 Monte.
